Spongebob Squarepants is ruthless capitalism propaganda because even though Mr. Krabs is underpaying Squidward and Spongebob, both Squidward and Spongebob appear wealthy or well-off. Spongebob lives in a fully furnished three-story house wherein there’s a huge pipe organ, a library, and multiple closets. Squidward on the otherhand despite being a lazy worker and not being the most valuable employee lives in a two-story fully furnished house with an elevator. This is not an accurate reflection of the underpaid working class but the capitalist machine wants you to think that this is possible to achieve under such inhumane working conditions when the reality is otherwise

also in trans news that should be talked about. laverne cox has stated that on saturday her and a friend were assulted in a park and it’s not really getting the same attention as elliot. we can still be proud of him without ingnoring what happened to laverne and her friend.
if you claim ally ship to the trans community then you can’t ignore the bad things that happen to especially trans woc. and if you’re a white trans person you can’t just talk about other white trans people. it just shows that you only care about trans people if they are white and that shouldn’t be the case.
if your gonna talk about elliot please also talk about laverne. she deserves better and we should all do better to raise up the voices of black trans women.
“This has happened to me before,” she said. “I’ve been trans my whole life. I’ve been harassed and bullied my whole life. None of this is new, but it’s still just kind of like, ‘Who cares?’ and then ‘Why do you need to be aggressive?’”
At first, Cox said she debated sharing her story on social media and wondered what she “could have done differently,” before realizing “it’s not my fault that this happened.” She also thanked her friend, who immediately recognized that Cox was the “target” of the attack and deescalated the situation.
And here’s the Instagram live she posted talking about the incident
As well as a follow up live she posted talking about it a bit more, thanking people for their support, and talking about some experiences she’s had as a Black trans woman in general
